The Shemmozle

Last Saturday was the Shemmozle. This is an event that is held every year in Hunterville, the Huntaway capital of the world. There is an event for kids, teenagers and adults. I participated in the kids race.
First we ran up a hill that was covered in prickles. It was very steep. Then we went down the mudslide, a 40 m, very steep slide, that was cut into the hill. Then we went to the eating station, a thin rice cracker with corn pickle on the top. Next we ran through a sheep dip, crawled through some pipes and ran onto the street. We crawled under obstacles, bobbed peach teats, climbed over hay bales and threw balls into wool fadges. Then it was a sprint to the finish.
I was the fifth girl back. I really enjoyed myself at the Shemmozle and I am definately going back next year!
