Cross Country

On your marks, get set, GO!!!!! My race was underway. Ryan took the early lead, but I stuck right beside him. Our course was fairly simple, two small laps, one big lap then another small lap to finish.
As we rounded the corner to start our big lap, I overtook Ryan. By the end of the big lap, I was leading by a fair distance. As I started the small lap, I started going faster and faster until I was sprinting. As I crossed the finish line I was breathing heavily. I watched the others finish. In the end Ryan came third because Rebekah sprinted him off. After my race I watched my sister run her race, then I sat down for prize giving.

 I got a certificate for coming first. What a great day!
